Brandon contemplates the big decision of whether to get a surgery that could either restore or destroy his dream of playing piano, but Stef and Lena find themselves on opposite ends of the debate.

Lena and Mike disagree about whether to punish Brandon. Elsewhere, Jesus tries to cover for Mariana and puts his health at risk in the process, while Callie gets blamed for Mariana’s transgression; and Jesus and Lexi embark on a secret relationship.

Stef and Lena take measures to keep Brandon and Callie apart. Meanwhile, Jesus has problems in the wrestling team. Kelsey, Mariana’s friend, reveals a secret of Mariana’s past.

Stef and Lena go on a babymoon, leaving Brandon and Callie in charge of the house. Brandon’s bandmates pressure him into having a few friends over to hear their new sound, but when Mariana and Jesus find out, the night turns into an all-out rager.

Mike invites Brandon to move in with him, which leads to an argument between Stef and Brandon. Meanwhile, Mariana objects to Jesus dating Lexi; and Callie’s journal assignment sparks memories of a dark secret from her past.

Lena wants to become pregnant, but she has not spoken with Stef about it. Jesus and Emma, a girl of the wrestling team, flirt with each other.

Callie makes an important decision to address the hold-up in her adoption face on, but Jude may be more affected by her choice than he lets show.
