Investigators suspect Ji-yong’s death may not be all that it seems as Seo-hyun assumes authority over the Hyowon Group

Mine S01E01 opens with a nun entering a police station, breathless, reporting a murder. The scene then shifts to the “60 days earlier” narrative. A new maid and tutor are hired and the characters living in the Hyowon Mansion are introduced.

A series of flashbacks reveal each suspects’ motivations to murder Ji-yong. Meanwhile, Hi-soo submits to an interrogation.

Han Jin-ho appointed as the president of the company while both his wife and his sister-in-law are surprised. Jung Seo-hyun calls Kim Yu-hyeon over and asks her to spy on Mother, Han Ji-ho, Han Suk-chul and Soo-hyuk’s bedrooms

Hi-soo and Seo-hyun continue to rile the suspicions of the investigators despite the testimonies of Ji-yong’s families, who deem his death a suicide.

Jung Seo-hyun is playing a dangerous game and the narrator says that she is controlling everyone’s lives without anyone knowing it. She tells head maid Joo that she will fire Kim Yu-Yeon the next day and to keep it a secret.
