Nadja (1994)

Nadja (1994), a film by Michael Almereyda that puts a post-modern spin on the vampire genre. The film follows Nadja, the daughter of Dracula, who tries to escape her father’s legacy and reconnect with her twin brother Edgar in New York City. However, she also has to deal with her attraction to Lucy, the wife of Van Helsing’s nephew Jim, who is determined to destroy her and her family. The film mixes black-and-white cinematography with pixelvision segments and features a soundtrack by Simon Fisher Turner.
