Supergirl S01E01: Pilot

Cousins Kal-El and Kara Zor-El are sent to Earth before Krypton’s approaching obliteration. The planet’s implosion powers Kara’s boat off base and into the Phantom Zone for a long time, before arriving on Earth. Kal, presently working as the superhuman Superman in Metropolis, puts Kara being taken care of by the Danvers in National City.
